Back in January of 2017, Albany Ga was the target of tornadoes. On January 2nd, I was in a hallway with my cell phone hunkered down due to tornadoes that were in my area. I was taking screenshots of radar and posting them on my Facebook page. I was quickly added to a storm recovery page for the area a few days after. Then January 22nd came around and I was doing the same thing due to an EF-3 that took out a good bit of the city and counties surrounding. It was then that the idea of the storm team was developed in my mind. For months, I continued to inform people through the recovery group on Facebook about inclement weather. Then I broke off away from the page and created Southeast Awareness which was later renamed to South Georgia Storm Troopers. A few months passed and God led me to cover the entire state. So we renamed again to Georgia Storm Troopers.

Then there was this guy named Justin Prince that came along… Justin came to me out of respect and asked me if he could rename his team the Alabama Storm Troopers because he had heard what we were doing with Georgia and he wanted to set up things the same. I was caught off guard but agreed and thanked him for coming to me about it. It was then that we started the journey of building the Storm Trooper Network. The next big state to join was Kansas. To be honest… EVERYTHING has been a blur for the most part because we are growing so fast and big. I know Austin Williams and I talked and his team was welcomed aboard with love and encouragement. Austin and his team was a huge addition as the first official Tornado Alley represented team. The rest is history…
